Mirella, the White Queen of Wonderland, is the rightful heir and ruler of Wonderland. She is currently exiled, but is in hiding on the outskirts of Wonderland, spending most of her time at a forgotten castle, in villages helping refugees, or in the woods close to the border of the other world. She travels with her knights from town to town often, barely staying in the safety of the secret castle. Though people try to persuade her to stay in hiding and be safe, she knows that she cannot stand back and let her people suffer without trying to help them.
Mirella needs loyal and trustworthy people in her life. As she tries to rebuild and take back her kingdoms, allies and friendships will be needed. Though her knights and the people of her kingdom are her subjects, she still considers them friends. As a loving and caring person her heart is always open for more people in her life, acquaintances or friends, young or old. Her maternal instincts make her very motherly and caring towards people, so she will always help if someone she is close to, or most of the time even not close to, is in trouble.
Her only true enemy is the Red Queen, though it hurts her heart to know that her and her sister can never get along. She hopes that maybe someday something will change, but she knows that if she is ever going to be able take her kingdom back, she cannot just pardon her sister. Those who follow her sister are currently considered her enemies also, but she is a just and forgiving queen, so there is hope for them yet.
Mirella was married once upon a time to Rochman, the White King. After his passing she has yet to find someone to take his place, but there has been talk of a White Knight who could have stolen the queen's heart.
Hähnsen Black Swan
Princess Poppy Hähnsen
Poppy, the Black Swan of the Hähnsen family, third in line, daughter of the king and queen of Soest. She is a fighter, both figuratively and literally, a lover of words and dancing, and a rule breaker. Never wanting to conform to the mold that her parents wanted to put her in she began training in combat at a young age and as she grew began studying and writing works of poetry outside of the 'appropriate' realm of writings that princesses should know. Many people have many different opinions of the princess, and if you look below you might find where you fit with her.
Even with all of her so called 'flaws' Poppy really can be a likeable person. You just have to be able to put up with her large personality and fast paced brain. She likes being liked, and she likes having people around her, so friends are always welcome.
If Poppy has enemies, it is not a big surprise. With her big mouth, outspoken attitude, and reputation around the kingdoms there are bound to be people that dislike or even hate her, most likely those of the female variety. There is also the potential of her having political feuds with people, because even though she never really wanted to be a princess or have the duties and expectations that she does, she knows that there are some responsibilities that she cannot cast aside.
If there is one thing Poppy does not believe in, it is true love. Sure, she sees how happy Rose is in her marriage, and her parents were generally pretty happy, but in her eyes there is no such thing as true love, for her at least. But that doesn't mean Poppy doesn't belive in love, or lovers that is. She is not naive nor is she a stranger to the idea of lovers. She herself has a growing list, something that she is constantly harped on by her family.
Girl in Blue
Ella is the daughter of Lord and Lady Tremaine, stepdaughter to the new Lady Tremaine. A kind and courageous soul, Ella enjoys using her druid magic to work with the earth and new healing techniques such as making new medicines. She has been abused and locked away by her stepmother and stepsisters for a large chunk of her life, but it has only crushed her positivity and hope a little bit. Though she is not the bubbly, happy-go-lucky child she once was, Ella believes to always see the good in the world, but knowing that there are times that she must be strong and rough to survive.
Poor Ella has been locked away and hidden for most of her teenage to adult life. Her last and closest friend was with Prince Declan, but now that she is getting older and is gaining more freedom, she has more opportunities to make more friends. If she could ever truly be free from her stepmother, she would love to travel, so distance would not matter.
Ella's enemies are her stepmother and her stepsisters. Other than that, Ella rarely has enemies, unless it is someone who is against magic or someone who is against the friendship that her and Declan have/had.
Ella is a firm believer in love. She saw it in her parents, and she knows that she has also experienced it in her life. One thing she is unsure about though is true love. She does not know if there is that one special person out there for her, but she knows that there is the chance that she will love again, and maybe again, and maybe again. But however many times it happens or however long it takes, she will just be happy to know that she can always believe in love.
Isolde is the Snow Queen of Nordheim, sister of Kai, sister-in-law of Gerda, aunt of Ivar and Ilse, and one of the coldest people you will ever meet. Her life has given her a cold, dark perspective on the world. Her own light comes from her brother, the only thing that keeps her together and keeps her whole. She is powerful and strong willed, but she is slowly tearing at the seams. She is just a broken little creature in need of help, and by broken little creature I mean like a wounded tiger, so good luck whoever comes in contact with her.
Kai is Isolde's best friend. She is also friends/acquaintances with the fae of the White Woods, them being her mentors and all. She isn't a difficult person to get along with, but she is very good at feigning calm and is a wearer of many masks. It is hard to tell when she is genuine, which can strain relationships.
Isolde tries to keep her enemies far from her. Anyone who breaks the rules of Nordheim is instantly exiled. Her stepfather is no longer a factor, but her brother Henrik is still out there, and who knows where they stand now. But, being a powerful magical being and being in a place of command and leadership is bound to bring enemies and rivals in.
"Love makes fools of us all." A motto Isolde lives by. She loves her brother. She does not fully know yet but she loves her niece and nephew and even her sister-in-law, but other than that it is going to take a lot for someone to break down her ice wall she has built around her heart and to endure the fiery temper that she has.
Elizawse R. Wyllt
Elizawse is the adoptive daughter of Merlin. She was a princess in a far off kingdom, born to the King and Queen through dark magic brought upon them by the King's thirst for knowledge and power. Her and her mother were exiled when she was four and it was then that she lost her mother. At the age of five she found Merlin, and from that point on is about all she remembers about her life. She remembers being in the forest with her mother, and then following a magic owl to Merlin, but before that has been buried in the depths of her mind, forgotten and lost.
Eliza's best friend is the Queen of Camelot herself, Gwen. Two other very close people in her life are King Arthur and her dragon shifter friend, Athena. And then there is Merlin, her adoptive father. Aside from Gwen, he is her closest confidant. But that doesn't mean Eliza isn't open to other friends! So bring them her way!
Unknown to her, Eliza has a whole kingdom of enemies. Her entire home kingdom wants her dead, including her father.
There is no planned love interest at this time for Eliza, but she does have a very strange, very strong connection with Mordred. She believes in love, but she also knows that it doesn't always end the way people hope it does. So don't be afraid to throw things her way, but just be ready for her reaction!
Terror of the Sea
Asra Fatin Rayyan
Asra is the first born of King Triton and sister to Anahita, the Little Mermaid. Asra has a fighter's soul and was born to rule. She was the heir to the ocean throne but things got a little complicated and now she has to earn her spot back for heir. With one of the sea's most powerful siren songs she is a force to be reckoned with and when she is in her mermaid form her strength is terrifying. She is blood thirsty and ruthless, and she only really cares about three things in the world, her sisters, power, and Crevan Sewell.
Making friends isn't exactly something that comes as second nature to Asra. She is very good at making alliances, and she has many people she would consider acquaintances, but truthfully most of them probably just fear her and are mermaids from her kingdom. She gets along well enough with Crevan's men, but her true friends are her sisters. But hey, go ahead and try to befriend the Princess of the Sea! And best of luck to you.
Making friends may be hard for Asra, but making enemies is like second nature to her. As of now she has a huge problem with pirates and humans in general after the mermaid massacres began happening. The dearly departed Iagan Sewell was another enemy of hers, and Crevan is convinced he continues to haunt them from the grave.
Asra is head over heals, completely infatuated with Crevan. Though that doesn't mean she won't use her siren powers and feminine charm to get what she wants when she needs to. A bit of a flirt she is sure to have other gentlemen, or even gentlewomen, callers, but at the end of the day she will always be with Crevan, and if anyone tries to get in the way of that they won't be alive for much longer. Trust me. It has happened before.
Caitir is the faery Queen of Elfame (aka Fairyland) and the fae race, known for being pure-hearted and defending the good. She sees herself as having a role to protect nature as well as her people and is taking an active part in trying to help good people win out (e.g. she's lending her aid to Princess Snow White in her war to take down her stepmother, the Evil Queen).
The Faery Queen has always had a soft spot for pure-hearted creatures and I can definitely see her befriending Mirella, siding with her over her sister, so if the White Queen ever needs a friend and ally (a powerful one too, the fae are definitely not a force to be messed with) she'd find one in Caitir.
Oh, she also keeps an eye on things in other kingdoms, and has been watching out for Wonderland for a while now.
The famed Bandersnatch, known for his odd temperment, aggression and brutality, Einarr forms his own special branch of Wonderlsnd's law enforcement. A very successful one, no one escapes when the Bandersnatch has their name in his book.
Like you said, they connect on a horrible level with both their family members having been killed, his wife and daughter by the red army when he and his son were captured and his son after decades of threatening to harm him if Einarr didn't do as they asked.
*sobs for both of them*
It would be interesting for these two to meet, because they should be enemies, Einarr does fly the red flag...but is exceedingly conflicted about his position. He stays and does the duty they set him because he has no where else to go and what with his only friend, the Jabberwocky, being one of them. No one sees him as anything but the monster now and he couldn't bear to return to the Tulgey Wood after all that has happened. And alone.
I can definitely see these two running into each other eventually, whether it is an accident or a purposeful meeting as Mirella gets closer to making her move on getting her kingdom back. Caitir would be an excellent ally, but also an amazing friend for her to have. Mirella still feels alone in the world, not having many close friends, and maybe another royal, gentle queen could be a good fit for her!
I feel like this story needs to be plotted and played! It has so many different directions it could take and would be so interesting! If and when Mirella hears about Einarr's backstory she is bound to feel sympathy and empathy towards him twice as much as she does normally. Her gentle, motherly instincts will take in and she will want to help. But she is not stupid nor an idiot. She knows how to play it safe and how to keep herself out of harms way. But we shouldn't definitely start working on this one!
First off, welcome to FTRH! I love Mirella! I'm so excited to have her around yay!
So Eris here is the Jabberwocky aka the Red Queen's pet/champion aka the Terror of Wonderland aka The Actual Worst. She's violent, malicious, and sadistic; raised on envy, hatred, and greed. Basically get everything angry and negative about the Red Queen and multiply it to dragon, then you'll get Eris.
I want to say she wasn't always like this but she was. Oops. Still, she was a monster created and not born. She could've had a completely different life as a sort of princess. (In her clan, there's only 2 left. Herself and her sister, Raelyn. But Eris didn't know about this until a few months ago since the Red Queen found her when she was just an egg.)
As I was saying, Eris was made into the way that she is. I'm not sure how long ago it is you were thinking since the Red Queen took her seat on the throne. Eris is just 125. As a child, she wasn't treated very well. Literally treated more like a pet. When she first transformed from dragon to little girl, no one really knew what to do. She almost died. Anyway, it might be interesting if Mirella knew her when she was younger? Idk if it works with the timeline you had in mind. If she didn't, it'd still be interesting. Eris thinks that kindness is a weakness and should Mirella show Eris some sort kindness when she needs it, it might be interesting to see how Eris would react. She'd be confused, definitely lol.
Someone show Eris how to be a proper person.
Also Einarr is the closest thing to a friend she has and will probably get super protective possessive of him if Mirella gets anywhere close to turning him against her. Oops.
Yes I feel these two could grow to be really good friends. If they wanted to get initially acquainted, the fae live just about everywhere so I can see maybe Mirella showing one kindness and the faery bringing Cait to see their helper. Either that or some fae may be involved in actively seeking out the gentle white queen of wonderland that the wonderlanders miss so sorely.
Yas this plot would be really interesting. (And could just leave Einarr even more conflicted than before lol.)
Einarr won't ever speak about where he's come from voluntarily, which is understandable, he shoves it to the back of his mind and ignores it so the weight of it all doesn't break him. Mirella could easily find out through someone else however, though it was rather an inside kept secret, everyone outside of the red army and the queen just believes he was that monstrous in the first place. But the current red guard are aware. In fact, Caitir also knows the truth about how he was treated.
As for starting this, given his 'job', Einarr travels Wonderland quite a bit, as does Mirella, so they could easily cross paths somewhere. Everyone in Wonderland knows and fears the Bandersnatch, Mirella's party could come across him when he's at work? Or perhaps what might be more interesting is the fact that, though he mood swings intensely and really suddenly, usually he's incredibly laid-back. A lot of people are surprised to see a nicer side to him that completely contradicts all the legends say of the Bandersnatch (*cough* the person he actually is *cough*). Considering Mirella's on the run and Einarr lived in the Tulgey Wood in virtual isolation to anything other than other Bandersnatches before being caught, he more than likely won't have a clue who she really is and so her first proper encounter with the BAndersnatch is one where he really isn't the monster his deeds paint him.
So she could meet aggressive Einarr or laidback Einarr. Or potentially even both, his temper flips ridiculously easily.
I don't really have a set timeline right now, I left it vague because I'm still trying to figure things out, but I definitely like the idea of Mirella having met Eris when she was younger, maybe when she was little like soon after she hatched. Maybe when she changed into a little girl for the first time it was the one and only time the Red Queen asked Mirella for help? Or Mirella heard about what happened and tried to help? We can work on something lol.
March Hare March here I mentioned briefly. She worked for the Red Queen as an assassin. Then she ended up marrying a mark instead of killing him, causing the queen to send someone to hunt her down. She then accidentally killed her husband, and seduced the guy who was supposed to kill her, and is now pregnant and in hiding. So that's fun. I'm sure these two know each other and at least get along on the basic level.
Jack Frost So Jack is the spirit of winter. He travels to Wonderland on occasion. He'd probably try to sleep with her, but other than that he doesn't usually keep relationships with people, even friend ones.
They probably would have met before, whether it was just passing by while the March Hare was on a mission, or if maybe Mirella was going to be/was someone on her list from the Red Queen. Maybe we could play along with an idea like that?
This could be a fun little meeting! They probably wouldn't be close, but if he visits her whenever he stops by Wonderland, just to see if she would sleep with him each time, they could have a fun little acquaintanceship build from this. She would probably also try to recruit him for her army, even if he continues to tell her no and will never agree to it.
Mmmm yes. Even with a vague-ish timeline, I think this would work. When Eris first transformed, she became really aggressive and violent because she had no idea what was happening and it was super painful. She pretty much turned against everyone, including the Red Queen. So they threw the little girl in the dungeon until they could figure out what to do with her. Apparently, a dragon shifter can only remain in their human form for three days. So days passed and little Eris was practically dying until the White Rabbit was sent down to the dungeons to teach her how to transform back. Maybe it was Mirella's idea? Idk if Mirella would've visited little Eris in her cell/trying to recuperate but whatever happened there, I think it would be very integral to the setup of their relationship, yeah?
And lol. I can just imagine little newly hatched dragon Eris to literally be right in the middle of terrible twos then never grew out of it. She would be just tearing and biting and hissing at everything and everyone.
The White Rabbit could have definitely been Mirella's idea. Maybe she accompanied the White Rabbit down to the dungeons at one point? Or maybe she went down on her own just to check on the raging little girl. Lol. I'm not sure which angle we want to take, but I think these are definitely starts!
Ooo, I know Caitir quite close to a little faery by the name of Lyrea. (She's actually human size like Cait but is really young for a fae so the little still sticks.) Maybe she could be visiting Wonderland when she gets into a spot of bother? And Mirella lends a hand, Lyrea's really sweet I'm sure the two would get on like a house on fire and Lyrea would definitely come and tell Caitir about the 'nice lady' she met in Wonderland. Then the two Queens could be introduced.
white queen, meet your white knight. so lancelot here stumbled upon wonderland accidentally down a rabbit hole(after chasing down a strange beast from camelot). he was captured after wandering through the woods outside of the white queen's castle because her guards thought he was a spy(since they have never seen him before and they are doing their duty). this all happens during the timeline in camelot where lancelot and gwen start messing about and things are quite complicated. >.< once he becomes knighted by this lovely white queen, he will be going in and out between worlds. mainly because he can't seem to depart from camelot that easily....yet. once shit hits the fan in camelot, he will eventually stay in wonderland because he will ultimately fall in love with the white queen. and he might actually...finally get this happily ever after he wants so badly. ;-;
I cannot wait to watch this story unfold! I'm willing to start wherever you want to. First meeting? After first meeting? Etc? Also, the timeline I have for Mirella if relatively vague so that it can work with many other storylines, so do you want them to have met before or after she was exiled?
Phinneus and Mirella: So Phinneus was created in Wonderland. He is better known as Pinocchio, but most people here call him Phinn. His father is The Carpenter/Gepetto, as I combined The Carpenter from "The Carpenter and the Walrus" with Gepetto from Pinocchio. So, his Papa made him in Wonderland and Caitir, is likely the Blue Fairy, who brought him to life. Either way, Phinn is a very fun-loving and mischievous little boy who doesn't age since he's made of wood. He loves to tell stories. He loves to play new games. He loves pranks. He's sweet though, just likes to tell tall tales and stretch the truth. Right now his Papa has been captured by the Bandersnatch and he's on an impossible quest to become a real boy to free his Papa. I think he'd really like Mirella if she knew him etc.
I have about a million others:
Faery Prince Cailean, the youngest brother of Queen Caitir, he is innocent, naive, sweet, very in tune with nature, loves humans and children, loves helping anyone whose hurt or sad....he's just a sweetie pie.
Prince Christian Charming - 16?- Blind, Rapunzel's prince...he keeps finding trouble. Right now he's kidnapped by the Jabberwocky and his brothers are on a mission to rescue him.
Raelyn Allaway - 18 - The Jabberwocky's little sister, though they discovered this recently. She is very different than the Jabberwocky, as she spent her first 8 years of life as the daughter of the clan leaders of the Allaway dragon-shifter clan. She was raised as a sort of princess those years. Then the Giants captured her people and enslaved them. She escaped and became the last of her clan when she was 16. Now, Eris is all she has and so she's trying to bond with her sister and to tame her sister in some ways...and failing horribly. She's in love with Prince Tristan Charming, who had actually captured her sparking his baby bro's kidnapping.
Galen Quigley -26 - Prince Aidan Charming's personal guard.
Benjamin Hook -18...for a long time- Captain James Hook's son.
Tootles - 13 - Lost Boy
Desmond Monaghan - 18 - Steadfast Tin Soldier. Basically, he has one leg and yet is a very big inventor and has adapted. He's currently the hidden child of his "father" but is going to soon learn he's actually half-fae and son of Prince Coinneach. He's sweet, but is spending most time in Far, Far Away.
I would love for these two to know each other. With such a maternal heart, she would definitely be drawn to the little boy. She loves kids and loves being around them, especially after losing Lily. She feels as if helping other children she is doing what she could never do for Lily. Maybe them met during one part of his quest to get his Papa back? Maybe he heard of Mirella and is seeking her help in his quest? Lots of options!
If he is trapped in Wonderland, there is always a possibility that Mirella could meet him, especially if she ever gets the chance to move in on the Red Queen, if her army grows strong enough and the opportunity arises.
Another possible meeting thanks to the wonders of Wonderland! Since Mirella and Eris the Jabberwocky are enemies, there is the possibility of Raelyn and Mirella meeting. Would it be as friends or enemies? I'm not sure...
